Dunbar
At Seven stories and 174,000 square feet, Dunbar
Towers will be the biggest building to be constructed
in Sullivan County in decades. The complex will be
shaped like a “Y” with each of the extensions
rising seven stories. It will be built on 4 acres,
in a quiet wooded area on Dunbar Road near Route
17B. Most of the apartments will be one and two bedroom
units, costing about $200,000 and up. The complex
will also have six luxury penthouses, and outdoor
pool and a 4,000-square-foot recreation area.
New York investors are funding the project. The
cost will likely be about $17 Million. The towers
met with little public opposition sailing through
he village’s Zoning Board of appeals and Planning
Board. The project is expected to be completed in
2008
